DISTRICT COURT
LAWYER FOR A DAY
Through the Lawyer for a Day program in District Court, volunteer attorneys provide brief out-of-court legal advice on a range of general civil areas, such as debt collection, consumer protection, small claims, civil harassment, civil motor vehicle infractions, and information related to general district court procedure. These LFD attorneys do not cover 209A (domestic violence) hearings or landlord/tenant disputes.

For 209A (domestic violence) hearings, please contact Community Legal Aid.

For landlord/tenant disputes, please read more about our Landlord/Tenant Lawyer for a Day or the Housing Court Lawyer for a Day.

If you are looking for more than just brief legal advice, please consider the Hampden County Bar Association's Lawyer Referral and Information Service "LRIS" for additional legal services.
